We are excited to announce another new workshop by Platypusfile. This will be a two week workshop dedicated to cloth books. This is for the beginner and intermediate sewer. We will use machine and hand stitching (machines will be provided), we will cover embellishments, embroidery and photo transfers to cloth. Each participant can approach their books in their own unique way, a memory book with cloth remnants and photos, an abstract book dedicated to fabric scraps or perhaps more like a sampler where one tries out new techniques. Materials will be provided, however if a student wants to bring special fabrics or embellishments to adorn their book they are most welcome. Please see Textures Handmade Market for price and dates.
